A novel SNP (c.1311C>T) on heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) gene of Kacang goat in Indonesia

Heat shock proteins (HSPs) associated with stress reactions play an important role in cell survival by activating numerous regulatory and inducing black apoptosis. This study aimed to identify the potential SNPs of HSP70 gene Kacang goats Indonesia. Forty-three were selected from Sidoarjo Tulungagung districts. The DNA isolated blood samples was successfully amplified using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method a pair primers. PCR products sequenced coding region. sequences aligned determine SNPs. A novel SNP (c.1311C>T) found this study. categorized as synonymous mutation. insertion-deletion (in-del) mutation also observed at 1151stand 1161st nucleotide positions. Based on these mutations, four haplotypes constructed where haplotype 1 had highest frequency Sidoarjo. Indonesian no close relation Iraqi according Neighbor-Joing Kimura’s 2-parameter approach. Haplotypes 2 three different bases all Median Joining Network. concluded that identified goats.
